Baby Noah needs our help! Noah Ventura is a 6 month old baby boy in our area who unfortunately has cancer in form of a tumor behind his left eye. As you can imagine the countless doctors visits, numerous surgeries and great deal of medications are alot for any one family to endure. Help us here at the EWA as we help the Ventura family. Title match announced for the Sweet 16 Trophy Tournament on 3/24

You've seen the updates for the return of Hijynx as he's been on the shelf due to the attack at the hands of Versace Enterprises. Now his return match has been announced and it's a cause for restribution.

Hijynx will get his payback and maybe so in a bigger way. Not only will Hyjinx take on a member of Versace Enterprises, but he will take on current EWA Heavyweight champion 'The Baltimore Butcher' Blood. and YES, the title will be on the line! Payback with a chance to become EWA heavyweight champion? I think YES! -

Hijynx RETURNS!

There has been a trend in the EWA. It has mostly consisted of favorites amongst the fans being injured at the hands of the Versace Enterprises goons. Everyones favoite jester and former Maryland Champion Hijynx was no exception. Back in August Hijynx was viciously attacked by Versace Enterprises and most noteabley the now EWA Heavyweight Champion, the Baltimore Butcher Blood.

If you remember, an update was posted here on EWAMaryland.com not too long ago talking about the return of Hijynx to the Friday the 13th, Do You Feel Lucky event. That was until Hijynx unfortunately had a set-back in his rehab. We have now learned however that not only has Hijyx recovered, but he is in the best shape of his career.

At the 2nd Annual Sweet 16 Tournament, Hijynx makes his return to the EWA. Most would believe that he is looking to get his hands on The Baltimore Butcher Blood and Versace Enterprises, but then again maybe his eye is caught by the glaring beauty of the Sweet 16 Trophy. -

Apollo Cruz injury update

We recently spoke with Apollo Cruz who was put on the shelf at the hands of Versace Enterprises at EWA's Free Fan Appreciation Event on December 3rd. Apollo unfortunately has since then undergone nasal surgery and hasnt been competing in the EWA since. He has been visible at EWA events but many are questioning how long he will be out of action and where his spirits are. From our conversation with Apollo, he seems in high spirits. It was made very obvious that he is eager to step foot back into an EWA ring but no time frame has been given on when his return will be. He has said the recovering is going well and at this point it is a time issue. Due to the nature of the injury, there isnt any rehabing that can be done to speed up the process. Apollo Cruz also made it very apparent that when he comes back to the EWA ring, he definately has unfinished business with Eagle and Versace Enterprises. -

Sweet Sixteen Trophy Tournament announced

After a packed house in January, EWA returns to action on March 24th 2012 at Tall Cedars Hall in Parkville, MD with it's second annual Sweet Sixteen Trophy Tournmanet.

16 EWA Superstars will compete in the ultimate test as they embard on a one night, single elimination tournament in which the last man standing will be presented with the Sweet Sixteen Tournament Trophy. -
