In front of a sold-out crowd in Tall Cedars Hall, EWA returned to action with it's first event of 2012 and did so with a bang. All matches during this event were contested under randomly drawn stipulations and it proved to deliver one entertaining night of pro wrestling action.

The show opened up with a surprise appearance by former EWA Heavyweight champion, Apollo Cruz. Apollo has been out of action for several months following naval surgery that was caused at the hands of Versace Enterprises. Apollo informs all of the fans that his surgery went without issues and his recovery is coming along as planned. He asked that Jim Christian come to the ring.

-

EWA Promoter and recently retired wrestler Jim Christian makes his way to the ring. Apollo and Jim reflect on their long history, more-so their latest history which saw them on opposing ends. Since having his former allies Versace Enterprises turn their pack on Apollo, He has vowed to be a changed man. Seeing things more clearly, Apollo sough forgiveness from Jim Christian. Jim at the delight of the fans, accepted the heart felt apoligy from Apollo Cruz and then hit a homerun with 2 announcements. First, Jim appointed Apollo the honorary host of the event which would entitle him to be the person responsible to spin the wheel of stipulations and announce the matches. Secondly, Jim Christian asked that Eagle & Versace Enterprises make their way to the ring.

-

Jim Christian dropped a bombshell on everyone. As promoter of the EWA, Jim Christian was not legally allowed to become the match maker of the company due to a conflict of interest. Due to this issue, Eagle has been the acting match maker within the EWA. Therefore, since Jim has retired from in-ring competition, He informed Eagle that his services would not longer be needed. In shorter words, EAGLE IS FIRED!

-

Eagle and Versace Enterprises were clearly irate. Jim Christian then came up with an idea. An idea that if Eagle wish to accept, he could keep his job. That idea? By the end of the night, he would have 2 options. Walk out of the EWA with no job, Or pucker up and literally kiss Jim's butt! Eagle and the rest of Versace Enterprises were livid and stormed off.

Match 1: EWA Tag Team Champions, The Super Phoenix's defeated Gods of Destruction in a Lumberjack match
All of EWA's wrestlers circled the ringside area to act as lumberjacks for this match. The match saw the much bigger & stronger team Gods of Destruction control the tag-team champions throughout the match. The fan favorite Phoenix's would establish fast offensive spurts but continuously cut off by the questionable double team tactics of the Gods. During several moments during the match, The Gods would throw their opponents to the wolves at ringside as the villians of the EWA would feast upon the prey. A small window of opportunity opened and the explosive team of the Super Phoenix's capitalized for the pinfall.

Match 2: John Berg (w/ Versace Enterprises) & Christopher Cartier battled to a double count-out in a Loser wears a dress match
This match was a brawl from the start. Both men were eager to punish the other as neither men wanted to be the one embarassed by having to loser and wear a dress. Neither man tried many wrestling holds, they just pumbled the day-lights out of each other. The fighting spilled to the outside of the ring where both men got carried away and before they realized it, were both counted out. Since noone won, it was determined that both men were losers! Both men threw fits and neither would put on the displayed dressed that were hung up outside of the entrance way. Reluctantly Christopher Cartier put on his dress and stormed backstage with his head hung in shame. John Berg on the other hand absolutely refused to be ridiculed in this way and said in no way shape or form would be do it. Eventually after much deliberation, Vinny Versace was the unfornate soul who wore the dress on John Bergs behalf. Much to the delightful heckling from EWA fans.

-

Match 3: Grins N Giggles defeated Beer'D Life in a Submission match
A battle of one new team Grins N Giggles and a returning for the 2nd time team of Beer'D Life. Not exactly men known for their submission manuevers this match proved to be a challenging one for all involved. The random drawing of stipulations sure didn't play into anyone hand for this one, but it was the clown due of Grin N Giggles that walked out with a win after a ankle lock.

-

Match 4: EWA Maryland Champion JD 'Bamm Bamm' Roberts defeated 'The last warrior' Grey Wolf in a Leather Strap match
A good ole' fashion strap match was what people got. The match saw JD taken back by the power of Grey Wolf and it didn't take long before the leather strap shots began. The champion and challenger battled all over the ring, and then to the outside of the ring. Leather shots were cracking all around and both men had many visible welts and marks on their bodies. The finish of the match came as Greywolf had reached the 4th turnbuckle to solitify his victory but JD had backed himself into that very corner, shoving the referee to into Grey Wolf. Grey Wolf hit the 4th corner for the victory but the fallen referee did not see it. JD pulled a foreign object from his trunks and leveled Grey Wolf before removing the leather strap to hog tie his opponent. JD then drug the referee to all 4 corners for the victory without the strap attached to his wrist as the dazed referee went without noticing.

-

Match 5: 'Lonewolf' Wesley Mercer defeated Eric C. Jones in a I Quit match
Both men traded punishing blows during this match in an effort to inflict as much pain as possible on the other. The object of this match is to batter your opponent to the point that he quits. Eric C. Jones brings the fire early on and clearly caught Mercer off guard with his array of offensive. Jones slipped up and it cost him dearly. Mercer ran Jones' shoulder into the post and began to methodically break down the arm of Jones. The finish of the match saw Mercer nail an impressive single arm DDT and latch onto the arm with a fujiwara armbar. After fighting off the intense pain, Eric C. Jones uttered the words "I Quit", proclaiming Wesley Mercer your victor.

-

Match 6: Shaun Cannon & Chris Burns (w/ Sports Management International) defeat The Hell Cats in a Winner chooses their own title match
A fast paced match like you would expect saw both teams fire away on the other with a great display of offense. Both teams really brought their A game it was just about as back and forth at one could be. THC had the upper hand when Sports Management International teammate Christopher Cartier (still wearing his dress) ran down to interfere. THC stepped out of the way of Cartier attack causing him to crash into Shaun Cannon. The Hell Cats took advantage and pinned Cannon for the win...or so we thought. It was then reversed due to Cartier hitting Cannon and Shaun Cannon & Chris Burns were declared the winners.

-

Match 7: EWA Heavyweight Champion 'The Baltimore Butcher' Blood (w/ Versace Enterprises) defeated ECW Original Chad Austin in a Falls count anywhere match
Versace Enterprises acts as distractions early on allowing Blood to gain the advantage of Austin. Blood utilized his handy fork for his attack, as well as using Eagles tie to choke him. THC then comes out to even up the sides and act as back-up for Chad Austin. The battle spills to the floor. Versace Enterprises tries to involve themselves but THC won't allow that to happen. Then run off Versace Enterprises to the back and we are left with Chad Austin one on one with Blood. Both men battled all around the outside area. Blood then nailed his chokeslam backbreaker on Chad for the win.

-

After the match, Chad Austin began to vomit in the ring and had to reciev assistance to the back. Chad then made his way to the stage area to make a shocking announcement. Chad spoke from the heart to the fans saying that since he couldn't walk out a champion, that it was time he hung up his boots. He thanked the fans for their support in his 20+ years in the wrestling business and said it would be the last time you saw Chad Austin in a wrestling ring!

-

Jim Christian made his way to the ring and asked Versace Enterprises to come to the ring. Eagle and his goons reluctantly did so and it was decision time! Jim came up with a better idea as he then asked that Head Rush of Beer'D Life to make his way out. Jim told Eagle, it wouldn't have to be his butt he would kiss, but the butt of Head Rush who is on the upside of 350 lbs. Eagle refused to do so and instead Vinnie Versace was the unfortunate victim. Eagles face was then shoved into Vinnies posterior while it was still submerged in the backside of Head Rush. To make matter worse, as both men tried to whipe the taste out of their mouth, Vinnie Versace was assisted to a Jim Christian Retirement cake smashed into his face!

-

Match 8: EWA Cruiserweight Champion Trent Farrell defeated ROH Superstar for Former EWA Cruiserweight champion Adam Cole in a Best of 3 falls match
The match began with Adam Cole clearly having the advantage. Cole made his obvious that he was the much more experienced wrestler in the ring. However it was that mindset and cockyness Cole was known for that played against him. Adam Cole toyed around with Trent Farrell one too many times and it backfired as Trent rolled up Cole to gain the 1st fall. Adam Cole was infuriated and began to destroy Farrell with forearms. The 2nd fall was won by Adam Cole following a Northern Lights Bomb. The 3rd fall was a back and forth bout which saw both men pulling out all stops. In the end, Trent Farrell stunned Adam Cole with a Code Breaker from the top rope.

-

After the match, in disbelief, Adam Cole shook the hand of Trent Farrell...and then proceeded to smack him in the face and scatter out of the ring.
